For nearly four decades, elephant expert Cynthia Moss, and award-winning filmmaker Martyn Colbeck were on hand to record the trials and triumphs of Echo and her family, documenting the intense loyalties and deep caring that are so fundamental to all elephants, creating a moving record of a life we all can share. Echo died of natural causes at the age of 65 in May of 2009, leaving the family she had cared for and guided for so long to face the worst drought ever recorded in Amboseli on their own. It was a final test of the years of Echo’s leadership. Had she taught them all they would need to survive without her? Now, as a “television performer,” as he describes himself in a new lawsuit, the former pro-wrestler is trying to launch a legal smackdown against the agencies that are supposed to protect the flying public. In a complaint filed Monday morning in the US District Court for Minnesota, Ventura is suing the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its secretary, Janet Napolitano, as well as the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and its administrator, John Pistole. Ventura accuses the agencies of violating his “basic rights to privacy and dignity, and his right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures,” after he received a pat-down by a TSA agent at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in November 2010. Ventura, who said he has a titanium implant after hip replacement surgery in 2008, alleges the pat-down included “warrantless, non-suspicion-based offensive touching, gripping and rubbing of the genital and other sensitive areas of his body,” which, the lawsuit contends, met “the definition for an unlawful sexual assault.” Ventura’s …

On November 26th 1964, Pakistan Television (PTV) started its transmission in Pakistan & still growing stronger. Regardless of being a government department, PTV produced the best work in country that is unmatched by any other government department. On November 26th 2006, as PTV turned 40 years old, a show was telecast about PTV’s history. It was written by Anwar Maqsood & hosted by Moin Akhtar. Bernard “Barney” Fife is a fictional character in the American television program The Andy Griffith Show, portrayed by comic actor Don Knotts. Barney Fife is a deputy sheriff in the slow paced, sleepy southern community of Mayberry, North Carolina. He appeared in the first five black and white seasons (1960 — 1965) as a main character, and, after leaving the show at the end of season five, made a few guest appearances in the following three color seasons (1965 — 1968). He also appeared in the first episode of the spin-off series Mayberry RFD (1968 — 1971), and in the 1986 reunion telemovie Return to Mayberry.
